Church History
Who We Are: The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch), Inc.
We are the Pentecostal Missionary CHURCH OF CHRIST (4th Watch), Inc.; the true Church of Christ in the End-Time the continuation of the early biblical Christian believers who lived and witnessed the great saving work of Jesus Christ.
Today, we exist as ambassadors of God through His sent one, the Goodman of the House, the Apostle in the End-Time. We are spread in nearly all the seven continents of the world.
We are the church that brings transformational gospel to the people and are protectors of the apostolic teachings based on the Bible.
Most Biblical Church
In 1973, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol registered the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
When asked in what capacity he is registering the Church, he replied:
“I was personally called by Christ to be a minister.”
He stood upon the belief in the centrality and authority of the Bible. He proclaimed the Biblical truth of apostolic authority in preaching God’s word.
He taught of being in the same spirit and attribute as the early church. Having the assurance of the calling of God, everyone who listened and obeyed to his preaching has the same assurance of being called by God.
Furthermore, his utmost desire was to prepare the believers for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Apostolic Leadership and Biblical Lifestyle
Being a disciple of Christ, Apostle Arsenio exhibits true and Biblical lifestyle.
First and foremost, he practically dedicated his whole life in pursuing the best for the work of God. His passion for prayer is reflected in the prayer life of the Church. Every dawn at every locale, daily morning devotion is held.
The return to Biblical worship was also manifested from kneeling in worship to weekly celebration of the Holy Communion.
Church Growth and Expansion
He led the PMCC (4th Watch) in establishing churches in 23 provinces within six years of its foundation.
Today, there are approximately 600 local churches established in the Philippines, PMCC’s mother country, with brethren faithfully serving God and flocking in each locale’s house of worship.
Biblical teaching is also how Apostle Arsenio trained the early ministers of the church, where Bishop Rustico Zonio is one of his attendees.
Church Motto
“Holiness and Service unto the Lord”
The Church motto streamed from the conviction of the Apostle in pleasing God through excellent works.
The Apostle believes that anyone who serves the Lord must consecrate themself and live in solemnity and temperance because this is pleasing to God.
Church Vision
A glorious Church found in all the countries of the world, ready and perfect for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Church Bible Verse
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” – John 11:25-26
This is the Bible verse of the Church. It reveals the entire foundation and future of the End-Time believers in just a few lines.
The Pentecostal Missionary CHURCH OF CHRIST (4th Watch) believes that the resurrection of Jesus is the ultimate proof that God is a living God and He will not abandon those who trust Him.
Those who believe in Jesus Christ and God the Father shall be changed from corruptible to incorruptible and shall live with them in eternity.
This is the hope of the Church.
Church Registration in the Securities and Exchange Commision
On August 30, 1973, the PMCC (4th Watch) was registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The entire congregation of the PMC (People’s Missionary Church) of Marikina joined Apostle Arsenio.
While being interviewed regarding the registration of the PMCC (4th Watch), he was asked:
“Mr. Ferriol, in what capacity do you have to head this group?”Apostle Arsenio replied:
“I was a graduate of Bible School but first and foremost, I was called by God to lead His Church.”
Link To Pentecostalism
Our Connection To The Pentecostal Movement
The strength and assurance of our calling as the True Church depend on our connection to the history of the early Church, the “Pentecostal” Church, the Church established by Christ together with His apostles during the time of Pentecost.
On the other hand, the calling of our brother and Apostle, the late Goodman of the House Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol, has met the standard and quality of the true Church in these last days, serving as the continuation of the Early Church during Pentecost.
That same calling received by the late Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol is now being faithfully nurtured, expanded, and brought to greater fruitfulness by Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol continued the divine mission with steadfast leadership, deeper vision, and commitment to the growth of the Church in these last days.
After the first century of the Christian Era, many believers and followers of Christ endeavored to preserve the original nature of the Church.
The Mission Continues. The Calling Remains. The Message is Alive.
Across generations, through different seasons, and in every part of the world, the work of God continues to move forward and today, that same invitation is open to you. Not just to hear, but to understand. Not just to observe, but to experience. Not just to believe, but to live a life rooted in His word. If you have been searching for clarity, direction, or a deeper connection with God, this is more than a moment; it is an opportunity to take a step closer to Him. Where you are right now matters, and where you go next can shape everything.
